Chicago bloom shop as an afterthought, couldn't hold up

O'Banion told the two Italian horde supervisors that he had profited in the illicit hootch business, and that he was quiting totally, and settling with his stunning spouse on a dark farm in Colorado. Capone and Torrio were charmed at the possibility of purchasing the bottling works, and they didn't wince when O'Banion let them know the cost was a large portion of a million dollars. As a motion of positive attitude, O'Banion offered to help with the conveyance of one final shipment. At that point he said he was out and gone for good.

On May 18, 1924, thirteen trucks remained inside the Sieben Brewery, kept an eye on by twenty two men. Every truck was stacking up to their full limit with instances of lager, which because of the certainty the a large portion of a million dollars had effectively changed hands, now had a place with Torrio and Capone. Two policemen on O'Banion's cushion, stood gatekeeper to ensure everything went hunky dory. Additionally on the premises managing the operation were Torrio, O'Banion, and O'Banion's correct hand man Hymie Weiss. Capone was truant since he was on the lam for murdering a hooligan named Joe Howard.
